English Language Learner Instructor, Summer Camp

Job description

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic English Language Learner (ELL) Instructors, with a passion for education and learning.

Reporting to the Director of External Programs, the ELL Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering lessons and activities for an English Communication and Leadership Camp for students aged 12-17.  We are seeking qualified ELL instructors who have classroom experience with students from different cultures, and excellent communication and classroom management skills. The ELL Instructor creates an environment that is respectful, fun, and conducive to learning.

The ELL Instructor will also be required to perform before school and lunch time supervision, complete final reports, and join the Celebration of Learning events.

Work Schedule: 

June 19, 2024: required orientation session.

July 7 – August 3, 2024: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Pay Range:

Hourly pay range: $27.16 - $31.95

Criminal Record Check:

Must pass and maintain a clear Solicitor General criminal record check for the purpose of working with children.
