This is a 9 week (6/10/2024 - 8/9/2024) paid opportunity to take a deep dive into our data pipeline and transformations and push production changes on a legacy code base. The internship will take place in-person in our Santa Clara, CA and Charlotte, NC offices. Interns are expected to come to the office on most days and work alongside each other and their coaches to gain the most from this experience. The first week of the program there will be training in our Santa Clara office for both Charlotte and Santa Clara interns. All travel expenses will be covered for Charlotte interns to attend training. There is no housing or relocation assistance available for this role.
The Hiring Process: In addition to your resume, please submit a short statement on what interests you about this position and how you feel your coursework/interests/previous work experience has prepared you for this role. After we review your resume, we may reach out with an initial interview to align interests and logistics. If you reach this step, you will receive a take-home assignment to be completed using Python. After you return your homework to us, we will review it and schedule a Zoom interview for you - 2 sessions, 30 minutes each. You will meet with a Hiring Manager and/or one of your potential colleagues.
What You’ll Do - Communicate technical requirements to colleagues and ensure that customer success teams clearly understand the data set-up
- Refactor Python legacy code
- Write human readable documentation explaining how data is being transformed
- Migrate customers onto new features
- Identify opportunities for engagement to standardize and scale the data transformation process and work closely with product managers, product implementation managers, and engineers to execute
- Investigate and identify issues with data processing
About You - Currently a rising junior or senior in college (other years may be considered in some instances)
- Have a proficiency with Python and the Pandas package
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer
- Have strong attention to detail - your application is the first indication of it
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ready and available for a regular on-site workday at either Santa Clara, CA, or Charlotte, NC
- Reliable. Always

- A major or minor in computer science, data science, or a related field

$26 - $26 an hour
