Job description
For over 25 years, Native Instruments has been at the forefront of sonic innovation. Guided by our mission to inspire and enable creators to express themselves, we develop integrated audio hardware and software solutions for musicians, producers, engineers, and DJs of all genres and levels of experience.
As an integral part of the Brand Marketing organization, the Creative Studio rallies all marketing creative talent - across copywriting, graphic design, 3D and motion design, and video production. Organized as a centralized hub ensuring style and language consistency as well as constant creative development, the Creative Studio is participating in agile and cross-functional marketing squads. We’re looking for a Lead Video Producer (all genders) to head up our team of video, 3D and motion design specialists, producing inspiring, innovative and high-performing video content that effectively communicates the unique benefits of our product portfolio to our global audience.
You will be directing the work of our video, motion and 3D specialists, handling multiple projects with tight deadlines, and guiding work from concept to execution, while delegating tasks effectively across your team;
You will support the team hands-on as chief video editor, ensuring a consistently high level of quality across all video deliverables - from long form product and artist features down to short form social and performance marketing assets;
You will take ownership of essential management tasks within the video team, including hiring, reviews, goal-setting, and performance management, helping your reports to develop their skill and supporting them to achieve their personal career goals;
You will develop, engage, and maintain a world class network of outstanding freelance creatives to complement the core team.
You are an expert in visual storytelling, an outstanding video editor, director, and DOP, with a thorough understanding of motion design and latest trends in 3D;
You bring social media savvy, interactive video, and data-informed content creation expertise, and a knack for testing creative assets across different channels and audiences;
You bring a compelling portfolio of outstanding film or video work, demonstrating your ability to guide and navigate best-in-class video productions, and manage a diverse group of talented team members;
High-level expertise with technical tools across video, motion, animation, 3D, filming, and photography;
Managerial expertise, supporting and supervising your reports to develop and grow via one-on-ones, annual reviews, and regular team meetings;
Strong collaboration, communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills - you are able to clearly articulate actionable feedback to the team, whilst welcoming and encouraging direction and input from others;
A love of contemporary music and the creative culture that surrounds it.
