The Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science is a community of people committed to tackling some of the world's biggest challenges by working together across multiple colleges and two Cornell campuses. Cornell Bowers CIS is home to the three academic departments that power the information economy: Computer Science, Information Science, and Statistics and Data Science. It also shares faculty with Cornell Tech and is a partner in the department of Computational Biology.

The Opportunity
The Registrar Office Assistant plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the Bowers CIS Student Services team. Reporting directly to the Deputy Registrar, this role serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff seeking assistance, information, or support related to registrar services. The Registrar Office Assistant will manage various tasks related to course registration, room reservations, and overall registrar office operations.
Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, 3-year term (39 hours/week) endowed position that is based in Ithaca, NY. This position follows a 3:2 campus-to-home hybrid arrangement that is subject to change at any time. Typical work hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday with the flexibility to work occasional evening and/or weekend events, most notably on the Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend to support Bowers CIS and University Commencement activities.
