Opportunity Overview:
Pro-Tec Design, a local security product and service company, is looking for our next Sales Engineer Associate to join the team. We are a 100% employee-owned business, and we go above and beyond to invest in our people.
This entry level position provides backup support and administration to the Sales Engineer and operations team. The Sales Engineer Associate works with the Sales Engineer to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales and project lifecycle. There will be a robust development plan put in place to help the person in this role to elevate into the next level.

Required Skills:
- Business degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus
- Proficiency in BlueBeam, Revit, QuoteWerks and/or ConnectWise is a plus
- Ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all project closeout documentation: Asbuilts, submittals and O&M Manuals
- Create, maintain, and update internal documentation including diagrams, schedules and device details for Cameras, Access Control, Intrusion, Intercoms, etc.
- Support the sales team by providing the pre-sales work for takeoffs and pre-builds.
- Create and document new procedures for tasks developed and/or operated by the sales and operations leaders.
- Be a resource for QuoteWerks. Create and maintain project part lists and part bundles, assist with pricing updates and provide training for new employees.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and/or attend project kickoff meetings.
- Be a team player. Support other functions including but not limited to project setups, develop bids and maintain bid websites when needed.
