Position: Electric Motor Mechanic

Pay: $20.00 - $44.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Tear down equipment, utilizing manufacturer’s recommendations and industry best practices.
• Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage.
• Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure.
• Provide information on parts and additional work required.
• Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment.
• Complete information in reports as required.
• Paint and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Load, secure to truck, and deliver equipment as necessary.
• Clean and organize shop as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience with medium voltage and sleeve bearing motors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
