Job description
We're seeking a highly motivated Consultant to join our dynamic team, supporting critical projects in the nuclear energy industry. You'll work alongside industry experts in a collaborative environment, leveraging your skills in stress analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics, and related fields.
What You'll Do:
Apply engineering expertise to analyze power plant components using various methods.
Utilize advanced knowledge of fracture mechanics and ASME BPV code.
Collaborate with project teams and participate in design/repair projects.
Lead and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Contribute to business development activities.
Who You Are:
Hold a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
Possess 6+ years (with MS) or 8+ years (with BS) of relevant experience.
Demonstrate advanced skills in finite element analysis tools.
Have a strong understanding of fatigue and fracture mechanics.
Communicate and write technical reports proficiently.
Bonus Points:
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Skill in statistics, probabilistic evaluations, and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Project management experience.
