REQUIREMENTS FOR A MDOT ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

As our MDOT Electrical Manager, you spend much of your day compiling accurate bids by analyzing blueprints and documents to prepare costs, material, labor, and time frame estimates. Using your knowledge and expertise, you prepare bid packages, development budgets, and analyze subcontractor bids for use in conceptual and bid proposal estimates. You also establish pricing and conduct comparison activities.

In order to ensure that no detail goes unchecked, you work closely with the project management team and maintain estimates throughout the project. You consult with vendors and internal project teams to best resolve any issues that arise. Being an active team player, you work hard to foster positive working relationships to create opportunities to effectively collaborate with subcontractors and others that do business with you. If you can do all this, and meet the following requirements, we want to meet you!
