Salary: $19.23/hr. ($40,000 annually)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a caring, compassionate, mission driven Medical Assistant Team Lead to work closely with the Medical Director, Revenue Cycle Manager, Psych APRN's, Psychiatrists and clinicians to expedite client care. This position provides oversight of medical assistants and oversees special projects. The M.A. Lead ensures competency, quality, appropriateness and coverage of M.A. services. This position is also expected to function as a clinic M.A. when coverage needs dictate to take vitals and providing injections. This Certified Lead will manage and lead the Medical Assistant Team, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all tasks. This position is considered a medical, and clinical position focused on working directly with clients, families, Physicians and other medical and clinical providers. Work primarily involves the coordination of Physician/APRN services for Outpatient and Medication Management clients for Adult and Children's Outpatient Medical cost centers. Work also involves screening of client records, data collection, and the interpretation of data for outcome studies.

This is a clinic based in-office position

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Certified Phlebotomist and in Injections required. Certified Medical Assistant or ability to re-certify within 6 months required.
  2. Minimum at least one year of mental health and/or medical experience required
  3. Minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience, medical office or healthcare management preferred.
