Job description
Trauma-Informed Communities Program Coord || Remote || Contract
Only for Indiana state candidates.
Rate: $28.00/hour
Applicants with prior experience working with Indiana’s criminal justice system and youth prevention programming are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
The identification of at-risk youth exposed to childhood trauma.
The adoption of trauma-sensitive strategies to support positive educational outcomes and reduce youth risk of juvenile justice involvement.
Required Skills:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Working experience with w/meeting facilitation, and giving presentations to professional audiences.
Prior experience creating presentation materials as well as program policies and procedures.
Prior working exp. w/data collection and interpretation.
Prior exp. developing and monitoring federal or state budgets.
Prior experience in a program coordinator role.
Prior exp. working w/at risk youth
Prior experience working with w/Indiana's criminal justice system's youth prevention programming.
Prior experience working in community programming.
Professional Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in a public health-related or similar field, such as health promotion, health communication, health education, social work, or public health is preferred.
