Job Summary:
Village Caregiving - Point Pleasant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in Spencer, West Virginia. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. You will be an essential part of our caregiving team, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $10.50 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and compassionate care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Maintain a safe and clean-living environment for clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry
- Keep detailed records of clients care and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate personnel
- Uphold the values and mission of Village Caregiving - Point Pleasant at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related role preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check
