Immediate opening for a Part Time Payroll Specialist in the Dayton, OH area!
*This will be a temporary contract position.

This position is responsible for managing the daily Payroll functions and working closely with the Controller to compile, prepare and maintain financial records and reports for the company.
Responsibilities: - Manage and process payroll operations– (Audit time, pay, taxes, 401k, etc.)
- Processing accurate and timely payroll for various pay cycle schedules and employee types
- Data entry of/insuring compliance with state/federal regulations
- Process wage deductions & garnishments
- Preparation and posting of journal entries
- Maintain Pay Codes, Pay Rules, accumulators, and system calculations
- Manage and track HSA funding and deductions for company
- Enter in payroll data for new personnel
- Input and execute all new hire, termination and status change information for payroll payments and adjustments on occasion
- Process payroll reports
- File reports for ACA, W2, 1099
- Complete audits to check for any errors or discrepancies
- Record adjustments to previous pay issues
Requirements: - 2+years of experience handling and processing of payroll
- Previous experience with a payroll system required; Paycor preferred
- Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Analytical/problem solving skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Exhibit an aptitude for accurate record keeping, reporting and writing.
