Job Description Overview:
As the Social Media Marketing Specialist, you'll help fine-tune our global digital platforms to bring our brand to life online, all while catering to the discerning tastes of PC hardware aficionados. The perfect candidate needs to have strong organization skills to help manage content and paid media, copywriting prowess for social engagement, data-driven strategy skills, multitasking expertise, and a proven ability to foster genuine online brand communities. You’ll also be a key collaborator with our product and channel marketing teams, working harmoniously to craft social campaigns that bolster our marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage ASUS' social media presence with a social-first approach
- Own content calendar and publishing across all social platforms, with a strong focus on product education, brand marketing, and compelling editorial stories
- Implement and continually refine a cross-platform strategy aimed at expanding ASUS’ brand connection, engagement, reach, and audience to fuel both growth and interaction
- Identify real-time opportunities to integrate ASUS into cultural discussions and foster community
- Effectively collaborate with various internal teams (i.e. Product marketing, Channel marketing, PR, legal, business groups, etc) as well as external partners to champion social-first ideas
- Utilize social tools like Emplifi, Brandwatch, etc for effective management, metrics, and platform insights
- Execute social giveaways while ensuring compliance with legal regulations
Knowledge and Skills:
- Interested in PC DIY, familiar with components like Graphics Card, Motherboard and other PC components.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication abilities.
- 2-4+ years of experience managing social media content and paid media for consumer and tech brands, including influencer partnership expertise.
- Proficient in crafting social content tailored to platform specifications and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of social and Google Ads platform, collaborating with Product and Channel marketing for impactful campaigns.
- A nuanced grasp of the social media landscape, top platforms, and audience behavior.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven track record of creative problem-solving and achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional time-management, organization and attention-to-detail skillsets
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and opportunity
Required Qualification:
Years of Education
Work Experience
- 2+ years of Social or Digital Marketing experience (IT related field)
- 2+ years experience with Paid Media on Google, and Meta ad platforms
Travel Requirements
- 20% domestic travel to events, tradeshows and conventions.

- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
$68,000 - $90,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
