As a Digitization Project Leader, You Create Chemistry By...
In this position you will be part of a highly motivated and agile global team that develops innovative digital solutions for the Technology unit of the Automotive OEM Coatings business (G-ECO/DD). The transformation into a global business unit requires plenty of projects to establish globally harmonized processes and tools which support an effective and efficient product development. As a member of this team, you add value to the digital transformation of ECO’s Technology unit focusing on the development of Americas region, in the following roles:
- You plan and steer the development of new digital solutions and roll out of global initiatives during their whole lifecycle.
- You work with requirement specification based on the users’ needs throughout the concept creation, mapping of activities and processes steering until the handover of the solution to the organization. You also manage the key user community including training and feedback after implementation.
- You are driving the harmonization of Americas with the other regions by defining, aligning, and implementing global standards, especially in terms of a global data model and globally available digital standard solutions.
- You will be working in an agile and self-organized way, empowered to take over ownership and responsibility for your digital project / product with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You will have interface with multiple areas inside and outside the organization, such as: customer, marketing, and operations. You will also map and work closely to suppliers of digital solutions.
- You will foster the user-experience design concept, by understand the paint points and customer needs and translating that in information and data for digital solutions development.
If you...
- You have a bachelor’s or master´s degree in engineering, computer science, information technologies or a comparable qualification.
- You have already acquired at least 3 years of professional experience in digitalization and have enthusiasm for innovative digital solutions.
- You are experienced in project management and able to plan and conduct projects in an international context.
- You have profound analytical skills to explore and analyze processes in an unknown environment and to develop concepts for valuable solutions.
- You can coordinate internal as well as external stakeholders of your projects to support the exchange among all relevant parties and implement a successful change management process.
- You offer quick comprehension, high problem-solving skills as well as excellent teamwork and flexibility.
- You have distinctive communication skills in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders in an international context.
