POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for coordination nursing services. Provide medical support to the multidisciplinary treatment team

QUALIFICATIONS: Registered nurse with master's degree in psychiatric nursing; or bachelor of science degree in nursing with one year of experience in mental health setting; or associate degree with two years' experience in mental health setting; nursing diploma with three years ' experience in mental health setting; Must provide own transportation.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS: Talking and hearing required to communicate with client, family members, and staff and referral sources. Visual acuity needed to provide behavioral observations of clients. Work is light with some walking, standing and sitting. Manual dexterity needed in performing nursing care. Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens, communicable diseases, hazardous and biohazardous waste.

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides individual and group medication and medical concerns education.

4. Works with multidisciplinary team to develop and carry out comprehensive treatment
5. Assists medical providers in conducting individual appointments, and gathering medical information as needed.
