QC Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Setting shift work schedules to align with department priorities.
- Oversee cGMP compliance of the shift.
- Oversee of the activities and team members of a shift team.
- Review the work of shift.
- Conduct troubleshooting or investigation activities in a shift.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert on instruments or equipment in the shift and department setting.
- Ensuring that tools are provided, and concerns are escalated, as appropriate.
- Ensure that the shift teams are working in a safe way and following all safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure compliance to all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expectations.
- Accountable for the work output/needs of a shift team.
Requirements
- BS in physical science/related field
- 8 years of relevant QC pharmaceutical lab experience in a pharmaceutical setting
- Understanding of lab equipment and QC testing techniques required.
- No less than 3 years of relevant experience directing work in a group setting.
- UV, HPLC, DSC, and other tests.
- Know how to use dissolution instruments.
- LIMS and empower
- Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other scientific based software
- Have excellent organization, learning and teaching skills required to work in teams.
- Proficiently communicate and understand (read and write) scientific work in English.
