Job description
Apply expertise on HUMINT Intelligence collection systems, capabilities, and processes to produce full scope collection strategies. A
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English, clearly and concisely express multifaceted concepts, develop ideas in a logical sequence leading to a validated conclusion.
- Interpret higher authority direction, command guidance, and strategies to accomplish 9AF (AFCENT) HUMINT priorities as reflected in the operational goals and missions.
- Research, develop, draft, coordinate, monitor, and task complex HUMINT collection requirements.
- Provide tailored support to analysts in the research, development, and submission of HUMINT Collection Requirements (HCRs), AdHoc HUMINT Requirements (AHRs), and Source Directed Requirements (SDRs).
- Monitor the 9AF HUMINT collection enterprise architecture to identify gaps or shortfalls in current and potential capabilities.
- Perform periodic evaluation of 9AF (AFCENT) HUMINT collection management processes to ensure they are useful and provide reliable and valid intelligence.
- Evaluate satisfaction of relevant 9AF (AFCENT) HUMINT Collection Requirements (CRs).
- Oversee the creation of 9AF (AFCENT) HUMINT assessments for strategic and operational planning efforts to verify concepts, capabilities, technologies, solutions have been identified and incorporated for effective mission support.
- Lead employment of data mining, data fusion, predictive analysis, geo-profiling, and temporal analysis techniques in support of 9AF (AFCENT) Commander’s HUMINT requirements.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures to improve 9AF (AFCENT) HUMINT collection management, as needed.
- Develop, implement, and assess HUMINT collection requirements and overall HUMINT collection strategies synchronizing the prioritization of requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years of prior relevant Intelligence Community experience; 2-4 years specifically with Collection Requirements Management (CRM) experience in HUMINT; 2-4 years specifically with experience using one of the following tasking systems; CHROME, HOTR, and CRATE
- Provide support to the HUMINT Operational Tradecraft, Collection Processes, the HUMINT Operational Cycle and the Intelligence Cycle.
- Have working knowledge and experience with the basic personal computer, Windows Operating System, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Proficient in intelligence collection capabilities, PED, and planning tools
- Proficient in Collection Operational Tasking and Reporting systems, Collection Operations Policy, Oversight Requirements and tasking authorities, to include HUMINT related activities
- Proven comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of at least one IC or DoD HUMINT basic course(s).
- Expertise in developing concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
- Expertise in leading teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
- Expertise in the usage of argumentative evaluation and analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.
- TS/SCI with ability to pass a polygraph
- Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- A valid U.S Passport and meet visa requirements for travel to USCENTCOM AOR countries.
