Direct Care Counselor in Lowell, MA area. $18/hr Immediate Start

 

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The primary role of the Direct Care Counselors is to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injury and mental health in a Residential Program setting. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide supervision to clients at all times during and by keeping the daily schedule of the program
• Ensure the client's complete daily life skills including personal hygiene
• Ensure the safety of resident's (physical and emotional) well being
• Ensure that the program policies are followed and document any deviation of said policies
• Supervise clients during meals
• Other duties as assigned including assisting with meals if needed

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with disabled adults in a healthcare setting
• Must be self-motivated with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
