Announces an open recruitment for Software Developer - Project
$75,963.47 - $96,951.09 annually

The Court is conducting open recruitment for the Software Developer – Project classification. Under the general direction of the Information Technology Software Engineering Manager, the Software Developer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in .NET Core and the C# language. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC), from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. This person will also be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining all proprietary software applications and services deployed within the Court. Therefore, regular and punctual attendance is essential.
Funding for this position comes from grant monies and is subject to funding availability.Duties that may be assigned include, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
Design and develop new applications that integrate with existing systems to meet the Court’s business requirements.
Provide day-to-day maintenance and support on Court applications and websites.
Support and maintenance activities may include, but are not limited to:
Making changes to existing specifications; coding re-writes, updates, enhancements, or fixes to existing applications to meet business requirements and new legislative changes.
Performing quality assurance and testing to ensure applications meet user needs and requirements.
Developing SQL scripts to research and identify appropriate methods of resolving applications and database problems.
Develop data models, stored procedures, schemas, and tables for back-end systems.
Contributing to team effort by performing highly detailed work on multiple concurrent tasks under strict deadlines.
Perform related duties as assigned.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Conditions of Employment Successful completion of fingerprint and a criminal record background check is required prior to appointment and is a condition of employment.
All employees of the Court who operate a vehicle on court business must certify they possess a valid California Driver’s License and required levels of automobile insurance.

Felony and misdemeanor convictions MAY BE disqualifying for employment with the Court. The Court will assess the nature and gravity of the offense, the time that has elapsed since the offense was committed, and the nature of the job duties to be performed.
Employment Eligibility
