Job description
A food manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Corporate Controller. The company is going through an ERP Implementation from Navision to Dynamics 364 They need a strong leader to lead the implementation efforts. Looking for someone who has previous ERP implementation experience has a background leading month/yearend close and external audit and has 8 years of general accounting experience.
RESPONISIBILITIES:
- Provide accounting team leadership
- Accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable credit general ledger P&L and Balance Sheet
- Must be able to produce cash flow analysis budgets and projections on a monthly quarterly and annual basis
- Revenue recognition
- Internal/external reporting
- Management of external accounting audits
- Must be familiar with all sales tax matter and filings
- Establish strong business partner relationships
- Act as the company s technical expert in accounting matters
- Identify and lead opportunities to automate and streamline accounting operations
- Lead and develop accounting processes and controls for expansion into new markets
- Develop and drive necessary financial policies procedures and internal controls
- Play a leading role in directing change initiatives and process improvements
- Ensure accounting activities and reporting are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven detailoriented leader with strong accounting and management record
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in distribution of consumer goods a plus.
- Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrated revenue recognition experience as well as solid knowledge of internal control frameworks
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Commitment to excellence and impeccable ethical standards and integrity
- ERP system experience in Great Plains is a must
- Knowledge of tax structures and statutory reporting
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic work environment
- Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting required.
- Advanced Excel skills ability to work with pivot tables lookups; macros a plus.
- Very strong proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
Associates Degree preferred. Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and data entry skills. Minimum of 2 years experience with Accounts Payable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Judgment, and analyzing information. Communication skills, vendor relationships Problem-solving skills Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
