Job description

As our biotech client continues to expand their Antibody Engineering group, we are seeking outstanding Antibody Engineers with strong phage display , molecular biology, and antibody engineering expertise.

Senior Scientist, Antibody Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and construct phage display libraries using advanced molecular biology techniques.
2. Contribute to candidate therapeutic antibodies selection, optimization, and engineering.
3. Design and execute projects including affinity maturation, therapeutic candidate humanization, and multi-specific antibodies development.
4. Collaborate with team members to guide project development.
5. Provide technical expertise to design experiments and ensure deliverables.
6. Analyze and present data and recommend project advancements.

Essential Qualifications:

• PhD and expertise in antibody/protein engineering.
• Stellar publication record in top journals, including Nature, Immunology, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and advanced statistics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Early discovery experience including phage display, affinity maturation, antibody humanization, and antibody optimization.
• Phage display library construction and running campaigns.
• Automation and robotics is a plus.

Additional Points:

--This is a full time position and the title can be Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist.

--Title and salary (including base plus annual bonus) are commensurate with experience, and relocation is provided.
