Job Description:
The School of Industrial and Graphic Design ( SIGD ) at Auburn University invites candidates to apply for a non-tenure track Lecturer position. This is a full time position to commence in August 2024 with a three-year term and the possibility of a multi-year extension. The successful candidate should specialize in teaching freshman-level Drawing, 2-D, and 3-D fundamentals that emphasize formal elements and principles of art and design. The candidate will be responsible for teaching first-year courses to pre-graphic design students within a professional degree program and participate in service activities that support students in the School.
Responsibilities of the appointment are broken down as follows: 95% for teaching and 5% for service. The teaching load consists of three studio courses (12 credit hours total) per semester.
