Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
Salary range: $45K to $60K (depending on experience and customer final offer).

What’s a typical day as a Financial Analyst/Staff Accountant? You’ll be:
• Performing day-to-day accounting activities for both the International Insurer and IFE.
• Managing accounts payable.
• Initiating and processing journal entries as appropriate for the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Creating general ledger entries.
• Participating in the month-end and quarter-end closing process.
• Preparing monthly ad-hoc financial reports for management as requested.
• Assisting with responding to requests from external auditors, regulators, and rating agencies.
• Developing proficiency with accounting software applications used by the Company.
• Performing ad-hoc projects as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience working in an accounting function.
• Possess excellent quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Are a critical thinker and very detail-oriented.
• Have the ability to handle multiple assignments, due dates, and work with minimal supervision.
• Have a personal drive to develop yourself and others.
• Are highly proficient with MS Excel.
• Have experience with Sage Accounting software or Netsuite Oracle (a plus).
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Are proficient in English and Spanish.
