We are currently seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Manager who will be responsible for significantly contributing to the overall strategic plan for manufacturing at the Loveland, CO site.  This Manager will lead cross-functional teams in solving complex issues in a life sciences-based instrument manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Provide electro-mechanical engineering support and technical leadership to the manufacturing/process engineering team (process engineers, test/controls engineers and techs)
• Provide project leadership and support with line down/delivery issues, material review board (MRB) support and escalated operations issues.
• Plan, manage the procurement of capital equipment, materials and service ensuring the equipment/services are delivered on time, on budget and meet all standards/specifications to ensure program success.
• Evaluate assembly/calibration/test equipment for productivity and quality improvements and initiate business cases for new capital equipment.
• Lead and execute design change activities in a regulated environment (FDA/ISO) while meeting project deliverables and leading cost reduction efforts.
• Leads quality improvement projects pertaining to trending external field issues.
• Applies statistical methods to support test results and reports for characterization and verification/validation of new products.

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 9+ years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering environment or Master’s degree with 7+ years’ experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience leading a technical/engineering team
• Demonstrated project management experience in a product development program, and managing a complex work environment (cross-functional teams, multiple sites/products)
• Experience with design controls, test validation, and software platforms (i.e. JIRA, MS Project, iObeya, LabView)
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (prefer Oracle experience)
• Experience with data-driven analysis methods such as DOE, SPC, and FMEA and experience using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks preferred), GD&T, Minitab (or other statistical analysis software), and project management tools.

• Agile in facilitating problem resolution and handling escalated issues.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Technical background, experience in life sciences
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, ECAD tools, Python, C#, SQL, LabVIEW programming
• Understanding of statistical process control, GR&R and other 6-sigma and lean manufacturing tools including JMP statistical software.
• Lean Manufacturing experience; experience in creating PFMEA’s.

The salary range for this role is $125-140K annually.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
