District Transportation Manage:
Qualifications:
We are currently seeking a District Transportation Manager to cover our Southern Western Virginia and North Carolina Territories. The District Transportation Manager provides effective management to improve control measure and increase the quality of customer service provided by their assigned Route Service Representatives (RSR). It is the responsibility of the District Transportation Manager to ensure that all RSRs are safely executing all daily tasks and providing Total Customer Service to each account. The District Transportation Manager will on occasion fill in on routes as needed
The ideal District Service Manager candidate will:
- Follow all Federal State and Local regulations and our Safety Policies.
- Ensure compliance by all RSRs with all Federal and State DOT requirements.
- Complete requisitions interview and hire RSRs.
- Train RSRs in proper execution of the RSR Handbook.
- Ensure each RSR executes their daily route delivery process as per our guidelines.
- Collaborate with Customer Relations Specialists seek feedback and address areas of opportunity to improve RSRs Customer service.
- Schedule RSR shifts and ensure all routes are covered for vacations and holidays.
- Maintain fleet in a safe manner to include maintenance and cleanliness of all vehicles.
- Ensure daily completion of all RSR requirements including but not limited to DVIR Bulk Counts LinenMaster mobile application etc.
- Collaborate with TRANSPORTATION SAFETY to ensure all RSRs are properly trained and are executing all safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous management experience with strong leadership skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relations Software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and able to deal with conflict.
- Ability to adapt to change and a rapidly growing customer base.
- Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and handle linen bags weighing up to 40 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 450 pounds.
- Ability to sit walk stand and/or drive for extended periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel roughly 20%.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules regulations and procedures.
- Comply with us and hospital appearance uniform and grooming guidelines.
- Must pass customer credentialing.
- Must be willing to receive vaccinations as required by customers.
