Job description

PURPOSE: Administratively supports each department within the branch.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Answer and direct phone calls for all company locations.

2. Greet, announce and/or direct visitors.

3. Pulling information from a variety of reports prepare numbers for daily Flash Report for the branch manager.

4. Approve and print OERM's that meet established company criteria.

5. Enter returns and distribute copies to the appropriate personnel.

6. Process Material Discrepancies.

7. Work Return Merchandise Open Order Status Report

8. Follow up on return merchandise to ensure proper handling and accurate recording in WEBUI.

9. Scans shipping tickets.

1o. Review Margin Report and identify potential issues to Pricing Group.

11. Sort mail from street mail.

12. Complete Customer Compliance requests which may consist of a variety of forms and websites.

13. Quarterly Vendor Date Code Report and update

14. Order office supplies.

15. Enter orders through the software portal

16. Coordinate any classes hosted by the company, skills work training, a team, etc., make lunch and breakfast arrangements for these events.

17. Request credits to vendor for shortages, shipping errors, etc.

18. Assist the warehouse with identifying potential shipment discrepancies and reach out to various vendors to get the necessary documentation.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. Must be computer literate and have the manual dexterity to perform data entry quickly and accurately.

 

2. Must be able to deal with steady interruptions that include phone calls, emails, and employee questions.

 

3. Must be able to alphabetize and file numerically.

 

4. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple priorities.

 

5. Must have accounting and clerical skills.

 

6. Education: Minimum level: High School Diploma.

 

7. Experience: Minimum amount: One-year clerical experience.

 

8. Must be able to use the following equipment: computer, calculator, fax machine, copier, telephone, and small office tools.

 

9. Position works primarily m an office environment, however job requires working throughout the branch.
