Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic Medical Social Services Director to lead our social services department in our skilled nursing facility. The successful candidate will be proactive, able to solve problems, and address all guest concerns (residents and their family's) as they transition. Service will be your number one objective.
The primary duties of this position are to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facility's Social Service department according to federal, state, and local guidelines. The ideal candidates will possess strong communications and interpersonal skills to interact with the facility's residents and work with the staff members to ensure the residents' needs are maintained on an individual basis.
Requirements:
- * Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Social Work; LCSW preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing and/or rehab center as a social worker or director
- You should be tech savvy - solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office products & EMR
- Presents a polished, professional image with good communication skills
