Job description
Southern California Spine and Joint Institute is looking for a part-time x-ray technician to perform an 8-hour shift 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Turns on and warms up all technical components of the C-arm machine and all associated computers and workstations
Operate C-arm for pain management, spinal and orthopedic procedures
Sets up equipment and room as needed for exam, and makes sure equipment is properly cleaned and stored after each exam
Effectively operates C-Arm to produce quality image for surgeon to review and prints films as requested
Demonstrate proper alignment of the C-Arm for procedure for interventional pain procedures
Ensure patient stability status post procedure prior to mobilization
Perform monitoring of radiofrequency during patient treatment
