Job Title: Engineer - Utility Design (Water, Wastewater, Sewer)
Job Location: Magnolia, TX
Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000+/ yr based on experience

We are a leading utilities company with a 40-year history of providing consultation, construction and operation of utility systems for commercial and residential customers. Due to growth, we are adding an Engineer to our team in Magnolia, TX.

What You Will Be Doing

- Create designs for utility projects
- Perform engineering duties in planning, design and oversight of construction and maintenance of water and sewer facilities
- Oversee wastewater and water systems design
- Utilize AutoCAD to develop engineering drawings
- Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Recommend methods for the conveyance of water/sewer, to include the use of such facilities as distribution lines, force mains, pump stations, gravity sewers, and lift stations
- Review development plans and specifications applications for compliance with applicable standards and TCEQ regulations
- Perform and manage technical work on water and wastewater system modeling and planning studies: Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) planning, evaluating water system water quality, planning water and wastewater collection systems, analyzing historical demands/flows and preparing future demand/flow projections, Pumping and storage capacity analyses, financial analyses and projections

What You Need for this Position

Must Have Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Environmental or related discipline
- EIT or PE License OR ability to obtain within 1 year
- 3+ years of utility design experience
- Knowledge of TCEQ rules and regulations associated with water and sewer utility facilities
- Experience in the development and administration of project, operating and capital budgets

Preferred Skills:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Related experience in utility construction, utility engineering or plant/operations
- Related experience in the planning and management of water/sewer lines and related infrastructure facilities
