Description:

A Power Supplies Technician assembles large power supply units. Experience in installing electrical components and reading mechanical and electrical drawings is required

• Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions.

• Able to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, Vernier’s, protractors, and formulas.

• Mechanical aptitude - hardware sizes, plumbing fittings, and hand tools.

Skills:

Electrical, Troubleshooting, Industrial, Blueprint, engineering specifications, cutting tools, manufacturing environment, crane operation, overhead crane, bandsaw, hydraulic assembly, drill press, hand tool, plc programming, plc troubleshooting, plcs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Able to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Comfortable working in a team environment.

• Always Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers.

• Perform general housekeeping as required.

• Regular attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.

• Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills required (ie, Microsoft word and Outlook)

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Vocational schooling and an eagerness to learn are highly valued.

• Salary commensurate with skills and experience.

• Greater than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position or role.

• Required to work overtime as necessary.
