Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Summary:
Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for work orders including repairs and scheduled PMs of production equipment and controls.
Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Benefits:
- Hourly pay of $30 - 45/hr DOE (higher end requires 10 years+ and strong electrical experience)

- 12hr AWS (Alternative Work Schedule) - 80 hours every 9 days
- The shift is 6 pm to 6:30 am
- It is 3 on/3 off then 2 on/2 off
- Annual compensation of $70 - 100k includes OT based on the alternative work schedule
Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Resolve machine problems with effective troubleshooting
- Perform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production equipment both scheduled and unscheduled.
- Perform machine changeovers, conversions, and precision machine set-ups
- Participate in developing and documenting maintenance plans for equipment as assigned including determining work description, parts and tools required to complete plans, and how often maintenance frequency
- Accurate and thorough documentation of all work performed using a maintenance tracking system and/or technical reports
- Research and procurement of new materials, parts, and supplies to improve equipment and resolve ongoing issues. Items such as writing work orders, contacting vendors, working with the manufacturing department, and installing parts on the machine.
Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in food processing or high-speed filling
- Experience with:
- Electrical, electronics, and mechanical maintenance repair.
- hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical mechanisms.
- servo-motor driven system, AC & DC electricity, and/or drives.
- machine changeover/conversion and precision machine set-up
- Analog and digital circuitry.
- Use PLC to troubleshoot equipment and instrument issues
