About the Role: 
The Learning and Development Administrative Assistant assists in creating a culture of lifelong learning for TEAM Staff and Global Workers by coordinating and delivering training and development opportunities. This position will help support and promote a growing portfolio of learning and development programs including in-person, virtual, and blended learning solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with event planning and logistics for in-person events run by Learning & Development (The Appointee Gathering) or other events involving Learning & Development.
Maintain the calendar of learning opportunities provided by Learning & Development and keep records of participation rosters during learning events and assist in the creation of reports as needed.
Assist in the communication/coordination of learning opportunities, including promoting the opportunity, scheduling the virtual events, facilitating registration, ensuring participants and facilitators have all the information needed to engage in the event, recording events and filing recordings, and sending any follow-up communications/evaluations.
Assist with user registration in the Learning Management System, including setting up and archiving learner accounts, configuring new cohorts, and assigning courses to learners and facilitators as directed.
Assist with some virtual learning events as producer.
Manage online memberships and resources such as MissioNexus and RightNow Media, update account information as needed, add new members to accounts, and respond to individual requests for access to various resources.
Assist in Learning & Development project coordination by maintaining task lists, sending deadline reminders, organizing and filing information, and taking notes during collaborative meetings.
Monitor and respond to the training email address as needed with appropriate assistance.
Contribute to the synergy of the Learning & Development team by maintaining good communication with other team members, providing input and support, and working for alignment in all initiatives.

Qualifications of the Role:
Spiritually mature with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Training in Administrative Support, Associate Degree
Growing in ability to function effectively in culturally diverse settings.
Demonstrates a welcoming presence, as well as patience and graciousness in communication with others.
Demonstrates an attitude of love, compassion and respect to the employees, Global Workers and partner organizations that we serve.
Able to easily maintain confidentiality and prudence in communication.
A self-starter who has a track record of successful planning, execution and follow-through to accomplish agreed upon objectives.
Detail-oriented and skilled with systems and processes.
Excellent computer skills and a friendly, easy relationship with technology; experience working with spreadsheets, word processing and office software.
Experience in global worker service with TEAM or similar agency preferred.
Background in project management or event planning highly preferred.
Must be able to work from IL office at least 4 weeks per year for events.
