Job description
We are seeking a talented, willing to learn individual to fill our Landscape/Hardscape Installer position!
As a generalization this is what we will be seeking from the position:
The Landscape/Hardscape Installer will be responsible for the installation of the landscape/hardscape project from beginning to end, while staying on-time and on-budget, along with the supervision of crew members.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct crew members on daily assignments.
• Oversee and perform landscaping installation practices. Includes training crew members on proper installation such as planting, plant care, staking and care after installation, paver patio and retaining wall installation, back-filling and safe use of equipment.
• Handle onsite customer concerns.
• Accurate completion of all paperwork.
• Oversee and maintain all landscape equipment and operation.
• Train crews on the proper use and care of company equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Snow removal services when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
• Strong and effective leadership skills.
• Technically competent, strong math skills, while also being service and team oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle adversity.
• Ability to read blue prints and accurately measure grades, slopes and understand where drainage needs may occur, able to use a lazer level
• Able to accurately layout and install hardscapes such as paver patios and retaining walls.
Qualifications:
• Experience preferred but willing to train the right person, position will be hands on mentoring until training is done
• Ability to use commercial grade landscape equipment (skid loader, dingo, mini-excavator) and machinery safely
• Valid Driver's License
Compensation: 17-22 per hr
