The TA Instruments R&D team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our New Castle, Delaware office. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2024. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to As a Systems Test Intern, you will: Characterize complete system (instrument and software) behavior. Work closely with a cross functional team in evaluating current systems and aid in design decisions on future development. Provide testing support in the design and execution of automation and/or manual tests. Provide work estimation and tracking information to support management decisions and planning. Keep a pro-active attitude to insure continuous improvement of the system quality, work process and individual skills. Qualifications specific to this role: Pursuing Bachelors degree (preferably in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings effectively. Experience with data analysis and interpretation, including the ability to collect and analyze relevant data to understand a product's behavior under different conditions. Experience designing test plans, executing test cases, analyzing results, and writing test reports. Familiarity with test management tools, like Jira and MS Azure.
