Job Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored for the energy industry to facilitate strategic decision-making in plant and performance management.
- Utilize SAS Viya platform to design, implement, and deploy advanced analytical solutions that leverage the power of AI, machine learning, and statistical analysis to extract valuable insights from energy-related data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources, extract, and transform data using SQL, and integrate data into consumable datasets for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Create and maintain reports focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) in plant operations, energy efficiency, and performance management to enable effective tracking and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement data quality processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reports and analytics.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and provide actionable insights through visually compelling reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to energy management, advanced analytics, and data visualization.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in SAS report development, with experience in creating impactful reports and dashboards for the energy industry.
- Strong expertise in using SAS Viya for advanced analytics, allowing you to employ machine learning, AI techniques, and statistical methods to derive insights from complex energy-related datasets.
- Solid experience in SQL programming for data extraction, transformation, and integration from various sources, including databases relevant to the energy sector.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices to create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards.
- Experience in data quality assurance processes and techniques to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Continuous learning mindset to keep up with advancements in SAS Viya capabilities, energy industry trends, and analytics techniques.
- Attention to detail and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights that drive improvements in energy management and plant performance.

- Familiarity with plant operations and performance management concepts within the energy industry.
