Job description

Our all-volunteer organization seeks a highly qualified volunteer/unpaid intern/student to compile existing professional grade video and digital photo products into two video montages (one short, one long) for use in marketing and publicizing the 2021 event, which will be held on 21 November 2021. The final products must be of highest professional quality and will be used across a variety of platforms, including social media. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping the deserving children supported by the Toys for Tots program and will report to the Director of Operations. Its all about the kids!

The incumbent receives direction from and responds to the Events Co-Chair/Director of Operations.

This is an unpaid position. Incumbent must possess or have reliable access to all necessary equipment and software: none will be provided. All work to be conducted remotely.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of/experience with:
oaudio, digital photo, video motion and graphics production and editing.
ovideo editing software, such as but not limited to Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premier.
ocreating and inserting static and motion graphics.
omedia management.
ovideo compression for multiple delivery platforms.
oadding music/voice over/sfx.
ovideo compression for multiple delivery platforms.
Be a team player.
Creativity.

The San Diego Annual Toys for Tots Event is the largest single day Toys for Tots event in the San Diego region, and 2021 will be the 8th consecutive year. Directly supporting the U. S. Marine Corps Reserves San Diego Toys for Tots Program, 100% of all toy and monetary donations are provided to the local Marine Corps command for local use.

Presented by the El Cajon Harley Owners Group, our event partners include the San Diego Fairgrounds, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, and San Diego Jeep Club. Even in a COVID impacted year, the 2020 event brought in 2,043 toys and a record $21,335 in monetary contributions.
