Overview:
TraceLink is seeking an IT intern that will assist the IT Service Desk with day-to-day operations and special projects. This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global, cloud-first company.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: - Build and deploy Windows and Mac laptops for end users
- Peripheral setup for office cubicles (Monitors, Docking Stations, Keyboards, Mice)
- DoD Wipe Returned Laptops & log in asset inventory
- Interaction with end users to troubleshoot IT issues via ticket system
- Create user accounts in Active Directory & SaaS systems
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Skills and Requirements: - Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic, fast changing, and fluid work environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware
- Experience with Windows 10 and MacOS
- Basic knowledge of office productivity applications (MS Office/Office 365, Google G Suite, Acrobat, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking a plus
