Responsible for delivery of patient care to a mainly geriatric population through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Also directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Minimum 3 years' experience as a RN (Emergency Department preferred). Critical care background preferred.


QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN California state license
• One year of Telemetry experience
• One year of Epic experience
• TNCC Certification

Requirements

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
