Beauty innovation starts here. An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our Planning Team as Master Scheduler and join the world’s leading partner for Turnkey Performance Product Solutions, Custom Formulation and Contract Manufacturing.
Job Title: Master Scheduler
Summary:
The Master Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling the production of finished goods that includes reasonable lead times for all activities of a given SKU to be tracked/completed from the sales order acceptance to the requested ship date. Scheduling is the reasonable time it should take to complete each activity, execution is the responsibility of the department the SKU is passing through. This includes continually evaluating lead times in NetSuite and updating them when necessary. This person will work in conjunction with the Planning team to define raw material/component lead times, with Engineering to update equipment run rates, and with Production to update labor requirements and conversion timelines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain 2 forums of the production schedule
- Schedules and coordinates approximately 20 work orders per business day
- Coordinates with different department heads to schedule line trials
- Coordinates with Graphics to order necessary labels per work order
- Coordinates with Production to schedule pre-labeling jobs
- Work closely with Production, Staging, Warehouse, and Quality to ensure we have components, production and labels have been received in and we can run production lines
- Work with Production to determine crew requirements
- Works with Production to balance headcount in alignment with scheduled lines and/or work orders
- Communicate with Planners daily about WO status
- Requests the staging of all work orders daily
- Pre-plans work orders provided by Planning to prepare for upcoming work orders
- Prepare reports for all planning activity metrics and analyze all results to recommend required improvements in performance and collaborate with material manager to forecast all required strategies.
- Process requirement and analyze all working of planning teams.
Requirements:
- MRP or ERP systems understanding.
- BS degree preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of primary and secondary packaging equipment and processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement and the supply chain
- Strong understanding of production and capacity planning
- Ability to problem solve quickly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals from factory workers to Senior Management.
- Excellent to strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven Project Management skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business ERP systems and other necessary applications.
