Summary

Intern position utilized for training an active high school or college student towards an entry level role. Responsibilities vary and are based upon the needs of the area and the experience of the incumbent at the time of employment. This incumbent works under direct supervision and has responsibilities for performing entry-level tasks and for learning professional-level tasks relating to area operations.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Position Purpose

Working with the Actuarial and Underwriting team, the Summer Intern, Actuarial and Underwriting will embark on a professional development journey, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will evolve based on the needs of the department and your growing expertise. Working under direct supervision, you’ll be tasked with entry-level assignments while concurrently learning professional-level tasks related learning the beginning aspects of understanding underwriting.

The program will run from May 13th, 2024, through August 2nc, 2024, spanning 12 weeks.
