Job Overview: As a Project Manager (SETA) at S2, you will play a critical role in providing senior-level advice and guidance to enable the government to plan, manage, and execute programs and projects effectively. You will advise program leaders on potential technology insertions to enhance program performance and efficiency, review and assess program requirements for accuracy and compliance, and provide acquisition support to engineering review boards. Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating architectural direction, providing system security advice, and ensuring the completeness of test plans.
Duties:
- Evaluate performance, execution risks, and make recommendations to the Government.
- Assist with reviewing, evaluating, and assessing program requirements, documents, plans, and other related artifacts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Provide acquisition assistance to engineering review boards and configuration management boards, including RFC preparation, technical review, and coordination.
- Assist with evaluating recommendations relating to architectural direction and guidance, and support the evaluation of viable, sustainable architectures.
- Coordinate the integration of new and/or modified data types.
- Evaluate potential technology insertion to improve program performance, effectiveness, and efficiency, identifying potential long-term issues.
- Provide system security and information assurance advice, reviewing documents and policies to support A&A requirements.
- Monitor the status of designated Library Management Division operational systems, supporting issue resolution, and tracking test events related to software deliveries.
- Assist with the production of documentation to support new acquisitions, including preparation and coordination of:
- Review test plans and related documentation, providing feedback to Government and development contractors.
- Independently witness contractor testing at development contractor facilities and operational sites or test facilities in support of Government personnel.
- Participate in major program milestones, identifying issues, and ensuring sufficient requirements understanding and programmatic considerations are included.
Required:
- Demonstrated experience with DoD or IC acquisition policy and processes.
- Proven track record in preparing acquisition strategy documentation for multiple system programs.
- Familiarity with Cloud-based computing architectures and file-based data formats/standards.
- Understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the Intelligence Community.
