Job Description: Mowing Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our mowing team as a Mowing Team Member. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns and other outdoor spaces. If you are physically fit, enjoy working outdoors, and have a passion for creating well-groomed lawns and landscapes, this is an exciting opportunity for you to help us deliver exceptional services.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various lawn care equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and power edgers to perform routine tasks, including mowing grass, trimming the edges, and blowing away debris
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in working order, perform routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions or damage
- Follow specific instructions, guidelines, and schedules provided by the team leader to ensure efficient and effective mowing operations
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and schedule changes to meet service demands
- Carefully assess each task and property to identify potential hazards, obstacles, or improvements needed
- Communicate with the team leader and customers to address any concerns or special requests related to the mowing services
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear, operating equipment with caution, and maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others
- Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with other grounds maintenance tasks as assigned, such as debris removal, weed control, and general outdoor cleanup

Requirements:

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proven experience operating lawn care equipment and performing mowing tasks is preferred, but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate
- Physical stamina and the ability to withstand prolonged hours of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and specified guidelines accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure the completion of tasks within stated deadlines
- Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to lawn care operations
- Ability to lift heavy equipment or objects and navigate uneven terrain
- High school diploma or equivalent education
