Job description

Title: Salesforce Trainer
Duration: 18 Months with possible extension
Location: Remote

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Understand and provide training and training materials for the State of New Hampshire's Salesforce platform.
- Expertise and patience in the training of new users on best practices utilizing Salesforce.
- Engage participants in Instructor led virtual training, with a focus on clear, concise, thorough content with attention detail.
- Acts as the first line of defense on basic to advanced questions ranging from what stage in the development cycle the product is in, sprint schedules, user story backlog, how to's, etc.
- Provide ongoing assistance and guidance to users, addressing any questions or challenges related to Salesforce usage.
- Participate in daily scrums, engage in tactful recommendations for business and technical staff.
- Provide technical training for users in both the implementation and post Go-Live phases of the product lifecycle which includes Accounting, Reports and Dashboards, Administrator, and Community Hub Administrator.
- Create and maintain all training materials to include planning, organizing, and developing supporting materials through extensive training manuals, Instructor notes, PowerPoints, quick reference guides, etc.
- Update training materials with the latest upgrade information and release notes.
- Send out materials post-training, including roadmaps, training slides, and additional support resources.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate them into effective Salesforce training programs.
- Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect PHI/PII/PCI

Skills and Technologies:
- 4 years of experience in Project Management.
- 4 years of experience with PMP Tools and concepts.
- 4 years of experience Training experience with Salesforce required.
- 3 years of experience in Salesforce Administration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to succinctly synthesize data, develop recommendations, create slides, and present.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Ability to work with people of varying technical skills/expertise/knowledge.
- Must be comfortable presenting and engaging with audience to answer questions or provide clarifications on material.
- Must be able to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, users, and external vendors to achieve user adoption goals.
Employment Type: Contractor
Salary: $ 60.00 Per Hour
