CKO Kickboxing is URGENTLY hiring Group Fitness/Kickboxing Instructors for our 3 gyms in the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill area.

Job Description:

To deliver on the CKO Mission to make a positive change in the lives of our members by giving them a full body workout like none other in an environment that is fun, welcoming and accepting of all ages, skill and fitness levels.

Instructors have 1 hour to captivate their audience, deliver a killer full-body workout on the heavy bag, and push member’s to peak performance. They have the creative freedom to design their own workout, within CKO guidelines and parameters, letting their unique personality shine through. They must be passionate about motivating people and confidently demonstrate in a compelling and authentic way the CKO value story, educating guests on how it aligns with their fitness objectives. Instructors must deliver on our promise to make our member’s visit THE BEST HOUR OF THEIR DAY. This is a powerful, meaningful position. Instructor’s have the ability to change and improve people’s quality of life.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Create creative and exciting class content suited for all fitness levels utilizing realistic combinations and other exercises, in line with CKO guidelines and parameters.
• Explain and demonstrate proper form and technique.
• Create an exciting playlist
• Attend all mandatory team meetings and complete required training.
• Maintain boxing, kickboxing technique training.
• Take 1 CKO class weekly.
• Liaise with Sales Associates to ensure we deliver on our CKO promise and ensure a smooth sales process/onboarding process is fulfilled.
• Exceed Key Performance Indicators around class engagement and retention by building and engaging with the community. 60% Closing Rate, 80% Utilization.

Qualifications:

• Must be passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
• 2 years of Group Fitness Experience.
• Kick Boxing and/or Boxing/MMA/Muay Thai experience is a plus.
• Solid communication skills are required.
• Team player attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule as needed to fit the studio needs including early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours. CKO is open 364 days a year from 6:30 am - 8:30 pm.
• Instructors must be physically fit to demonstrate all exercises and maintain high energy for the duration of the workout.
