Description:
Next Generation (NextGEN) Network technology development and deploying solutions aligning with client s vision and business goals are key functions of client s Network Solutions team.
As part of this team, looking for a self-motivated and innovative thinking individual to support client s Network and Security technology development and deployment functions while maintaining relevance in the fast moving and evolving networking industry. As a member of the team, you will also be interacting with cross-functional team engineers, architects, internal and vendor partners to provide NextGEN network technology solutions to;
- Maximize the business value from client s Information Technology and Solutions investments
- Unleash innovation for our organization, employees, and customers
Principal Accountabilities:
- A member of the Connectivity Products team, assisting Senior Network Engineers to implement scalable, efficient, & cost-effective network infrastructures.
- Continuous improvement of Network platform
- Contribute to process improvements that integrate automation, improve efficiency, and improve service delivery.
- Implement and maintain standards while building and improving upon documentation, policies, & procedures for Network Solutions Team
- Maintain records of work completed and in-progress; and updates network documentation to record installations, upgrades, configurations.
- Manage reporting of backlog activities, standardization compliance, and network performance reporting.
- Assist/Support other network related tasks/requirements as directed by management.
- Implement projects and deliver on time with periodic status reports to management.
- Contribute with the implementation and coordinate installation of new data services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Education:
- Bachelor s degree, or relevant work experience.
- Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 network engineering and deployment background and experience.
- Familiarity and understanding of tunneling protocols (vxLAN, GRE, IPSec).
- Working knowledge of DNS, Tacacs, Radius, DHCP, NetFlow, Syslog, etc.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Vendor technical management experience
It is a plus if:
- Data communication technology discipline and certifications (Cisco, Aruba etc.).
- Extensive application performance and network operational troubleshooting along with network monitoring/analysis experience
- Background working in Linux environments with Unix scripting and/or software development experience.
- Networking in cloud computing experience (AWS, Google Cloud Platform & Azure)
- Configuration management of networking devices using automation tools and API scripting with C/C++, Python and/or Ansible a plus.
