Description

Reports to: Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Be a role model for the students
Assist a primary grade teacher with student learning
Perform duties asked by the teacher
Tasks may include - small group instruction, student supervision, one-on-one instruction, cleaning, supervising lunch and recess, walking students to classes/specials/extended care.
Follow daily instructions from the teacher and assist as required
Open to building positive and supportive relationships with co-workers and school families

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Christian role model
High level of professionalism
High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
Working understanding of the Catholic Church or willingness to learn
Positive and collaborative attitude
Self-motivated
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to procedural changes
Able to follow directions and receive supportive feedback
Open to a fun and supportive work environment

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or higher education
Previous experience in working with children is preferred but not required
Safe Environment trained or willing to complete the course
