Summary
The Assistant Account Executive serves as liaison between client and internal agency teams (account, creative, digital, production) to ensure flawless execution of project work and delegated projects. This person also manages account finances and client and internal team expectations.
Core Accountabilities - Provides direction to internal creative and production teams via standard forms (job starts/briefs, change orders, etc.) as well as oversees mechanical work orders
- Coordinates components of digital, social media and influencer executions in conjunction with the Digital team against approved proposals and plans
- Maintains knowledge of technical aspects and techniques related to creative and print/digital production
- Plays an active role in developing/maintaining client relationships
- Works to understand the objectives our clients are working towards in order to make sure our programs are answering key needs
- Develops, manages, and executes programs including, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Internal and external written communications (briefs, status agendas and recaps, change orders, estimate/PO approvals, etc.)
- Vendor meetings and management
- Timeline and budget development/maintenance
- On-time delivery of materials and meeting in-market dates on a project-by-project basis
- Supports Senior Account Executive in development/application of objectives, strategies, background
- Participates in deck development (pre & post campaigns) by wrangling necessary inputs from internal teams and external vendor partners, assists with client presentations/share outs capturing follow up questions and distributing to necessary entities
- Takes lead in asset management and organization. Pulls assets/pack shots from client repository as needed, uploads relevant documents and materials to associated job folders and maintains routine organization per aligned upon team structure.
- Financial management, including tracking cost-to-dates and alerting any unusual pacing to Account lead, updating internal status sheets with actuals on regular basis, coordinating monthly billing input and assists in fiscal year end billing.
- Responsible for opening project, creating project estimates, and POs within the agency financial system for the entire account.
- Studio Liaison
- Acts as key liaison to production team for any print mechanical needs including initiating necessary pre-pros / review meetings and standard forms (eg: IW, MWO’s) with studio team, and following established process flow for managing the production phase of a project in coordination with Account, Creative, and Studio.
- Provides team accurate and complete weekly status report and daily hot sheet for all active/assigned jobs
- Management of all project trackers, including project finance tracking for client
- Work with and manage cross-functional teams and will be ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of various client projects.
- Own Digital Coupon process across account – maintain tracker, initiate workstreams, collect assets and UPC lists from clients, complete forms, liason to Clorox NCH and Vendors for activation and tracking.

Requirements - Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience, ideally in an agency environment
- Education: Four-Year Degree (preferred but not required)
