The Quick Lane Manager directs and performs all the administrative functions of the Quick Lane. Operates facility in accordance with all company policies and requirements. Supervises and monitors all work within the Quick Lane. Ensures that work is performed in a professional manner and that all work meets customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Quick Lane Advisors and Technicians
- Selection, onboarding and scheduling
- Training, coaching, mentoring, counseling
- Foster a positive team atmosphere both within the Quick Lane and with other departments
- Resolve team member concerns in a prompt and effective manner
- Be approachable and enhance communication using active listening techniques with team members and customers
- Instill a sense of pride within the department to teach customer and team member confidence
- Conduct regular meetings with the Quick Lane team members to discuss topics, opportunities and concerns
- Dispatch responsibilities to Quick Lane team members to ensure deadlines are met
Understanding and Using Business Knowledge
- Maintains the Quick Lane operating environment to ensure optimal performance (maintaining equipment)
- Implements new manufacturer and/or dealership systems or processes to increase business
- Completes daily sales and production records as established by dealership
- Provides technical information and assistance to associates, as needed
- Maintain active professional affiliations and certifications
- Keeps up to date on industry specific information
- Develops business strategies to ensure a strategic marketing advantage
- Reviews the Quick Lube operating practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a High School degree or equivalent
- Two years of college with a strong emphasis on business skills preferred
- Successful track record
- Team oriented
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR and background check
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is internally motivated to achieve established performance goals
