Job description
We are seeking a Project Manager - Commercial to join our team and work on a variety of projects in the White Plains area. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing commercial construction projects as well as experience in the K-12 and/or educational space with knowledge or experience of working on piers as well. This position requires a motivated individual who is organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple projects to successful completion, meeting timelines and staying within budget
• Oversee contractors, project plans, and subcontractors
• Develop project documents and ensure accuracy of all contracts, plans, and budgets
• Create, organize, and maintain project files for easy reference
• Negotiate and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure successful project completion
• Attend project meetings and provide status updates
• Collect and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience managing commercial construction projects
• Experience in the K-12 and/or educational space along with experience with Piers
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work proactively
