Genesis10 is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist for a contract with our client in Rochester, MN. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to lead the development, execution, and continuous optimization of SEO strategies across multiple client domains, subdomains, and mobile apps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-level SEO, with expertise in data mining, SQL, and comprehensive SEO technical skills. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage SEO initiatives, and stay abreast of industry trends and algorithm changes to ensure the overall health and performance of organic search traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, prioritize, and implement SEO recommendations for designated client domains and subdomains.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SEO requirements into the web development process.
- Monitor Google Webmaster and other SEO tools to identify and address emerging issues impacting SEO.
- Create performance dashboards, analytics metrics, and KPIs; deliver project analysis and routine reports.
- Collaborate with 3rd party consultants/vendors to measure and report on performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify technical or quality-related challenges affecting organic traffic and rankings.
- Set and execute against SEO goals, staying informed about Google algorithm changes and evolving best practices.
- Support backlinking and strategic programs as directed by the SEO Manager.
- Produce detailed functional requirements for onsite search enhancements and collaborate with IT for timely implementation, testing, and release.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish and implement taxonomy, data standards, guidelines, and best practices for optimal search relevance.
Required Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of agency experience or managing enterprise SEO campaigns.
- 3 years of experience in SEM and SEO, with a focus on developing and implementing SEO strategies, technical audits, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor, Google AdWords, or Screaming Frog
- Advanced experience with Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console, and CMS environments (Sitecore, WordPress).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration.
Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $55.00-$67.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
